33x3 Method
Also known as 333 method, 3x33 method, 3×33 method
You write one affirmation sentence 33 times in a single sitting, then repeat that for 3 consecutive days — 99 handwritten repetitions total over 3 days.
Widespread TikTok has multiple active discovery pages for #33x3method, #3x33method, and "333 manifestation method," with individual creator videos appearing in search results dating back to 2019 and continuing through 2026. Nylon published a dedicated explainer (2022, updated 2024), and at least 10 independent manifestation blogs maintain in-depth how-to pages. The method appears alongside the 369 method as one of the most referenced number-based manifestation techniques on social media.
What it is
The 33x3 method is a scripted affirmation practice where you choose a single desire, phrase it as a present-tense statement, and write it by hand 33 times in one sitting each day for 3 days straight. Practitioners write with pen and paper rather than typing, aiming to stay emotionally connected to the statement while writing. The numerology draws on the number 3 as a symbol of creativity and completion, and 33 as a so-called "master teacher" number. The technique is positioned as a shorter-duration sibling to the 55x5 method and shares the same mechanism: repetition to train the subconscious toward a new belief.
How to do it
- Decide exactly what you want to manifest — be specific enough that the outcome is clear.
- Write a single affirmation in present tense and first person, as if the outcome has already happened (e.g. 'I am earning $5,000 per month doing work I love').
- In one uninterrupted sitting, write that affirmation 33 times by hand in a dedicated journal.
- Repeat the same affirmation, written 33 times, on each of the next 2 days — 3 consecutive days total.
- After the third day, close the journal and release attachment to the outcome; avoid obsessive tracking or worry.
What people use it for
- love / attracting a specific person
- money and financial abundance
- career advancement
- health and weight goals
- general desire manifestation
Where it comes from
No single documented originator. The technique emerged from the broader Law of Attraction / number-based manifestation trend that gained traction online around 2018–2020, drawing on numerological significance of the number 3 (creativity, trinity, completion) and 33 (called a "master number" in popular numerology). It sits in the same family as the 55x5 and 369 methods. Some sources loosely attribute the numerical emphasis to Tesla's well-known (and widely paraphrased) interest in the numbers 3, 6, and 9, though this link is not historically documented.
